Image 1. I love this hairstyle. You can see they have featured a lot of padding and back brushing. It reminds me of Elizabethans not only because of this but because of the plaits height and the amount of ornamentation. This feels to me like a messy version of Elizabethan hair. Almost whimsical in design.
I love these looks. I love the deconstructed take on that big intricate Elizabethan design. I really love ornaments in hair and I'm going to incorporate that into my designs. I feel that it will give my design a luxurious feel and a richness. I love that aspect of Elizabethan fashion Everything was big, luxurious and rich! Everything they wore was drenched in jewels and luxurious fabrics. I really am inspired by this. These images demonstrate that perfectly.

The image above feels very Elizabethan. The red, over the top, frizzy hair the pale skin and youthful look. This is a deconstructed version.

This is very clean and finished. This the opposite of the above images. With the use of padding and shaping the stylist is able to create a very avant garde look. This constructed neat look is very strong and reminds me of the elizabethan era hairstyles because of the large dimensions and shapes.

This again is very broken down and fluffy. I love the new take on the simple braid. They have pulled it out and created a very contemporary Elizabethan style.

This reminds me of Elizabethan hair because mainly the height and elaborate design. Although this is messy it looks almost like a hat with the way its constructed. The pale hair at the front looks to me to be shaped almost like a fan folded material like a huge ruff in the hair but a messy version.
